"Are ear infections caused by a shortage of antibiotics? Let's actually use common sense, which is not so common anymore.
Ask any parents whose kids have been suffering from ear infections and have been living on antibiotics for months or years and have had multiple tubes put in their ears and now suffer from partial hearing loss... ask them, do those things stop the infections? NO THEY DO NOT.
Read the peer-reviewed medical studies listed here. These are clinical studies done by pediatricians and well known specialists / ENTs and were published in well-respected peer-reviewed medical journals, and they found that neither antibiotics nor tubes help at all. If anything, these two things weaken the child's immune system for the rest of his/her life plus a bonus of partial hearing loss. So why do some doctors insist on doing these ineffective methods? Don't ask me, I'm just a chiropractor :).
All we do is remove interference to the nervous system, caused by misalignments of spinal vertebrae , so the body can self-heal and self-regulate the way it was originally wonderfully created." ~ Dr. Arthur Pangemanan
Ear Infections or Otitis media is an inner ear infection generally caused from a blockage of the Eustachian tubes. The Eustachian Tube allows equalized pressure on the eardrum and allows fluid to drain away from the inner ear.
When the Eustachian tube is blocked, fluid builds up and causes an infection. The transverse process, bones sticking out from the sides of a vertebrae, run next to the Eustachian tubes at C1, the first Cervical vertebrae.
When a vertebra is misaligned or subluxated, swollen tissue will result causing the Eustachian tubes to block. By removing the subluxations at C1 and C2 you can reduce the tissue swelling around the Eustachian Tubes and allow the inner ear to drain, clearing the infection within a couple days in many cases. “I firmly believe that chiropractic adjustments to the skull and neck can improve middle ear drainage and decrease ear infections. Taking a stronger, more convenient antibiotic can make the bacteria that dwell in your child more resistant to the stronger antibiotics, and can make future infections more difficult to treat.” ~ Dr. Bill Sears MD, Harvard Pediatrician, Associate Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine.

“Blocked (pinched) nerve impulses at the atlas (upper neck) may cause many clinical features from central motor impairment to lower resistance to infection - especially ear, nose, and throat infections. From his and other German medical studies, Gutmann MD concluded approximately 80% of all children are not in autonomic balance and have atlas blockage or (upper neck) subluxation.” Dr. G.
